On May 8, 2024, at Event Space 2020 took place Food & Beverage Forum 2024 - a meeting of investors and professionals focused on the most important trends and challenges facing the F&B industry. The event was aimed at representatives and decision makers of the F&B business - hotel owners and managers, restaurateurs, professional chefs, F&B managers, catering company managers, brand owners, etc.
Our founder and managing director Milena Asenova took part as a delegate in the panel Can Bulgaria become an internationally recognized destination for culinary tourism? Together with other experts in the sector, the panel examined the potential of Bulgarian cuisine to build image of Bulgaria as a gastronomic destination for foreign tourists.

Milena Asenova encouraged the representatives of various businesses in tourism to choose Bulgarian food products and beverages, which have built recognizable brands with stable production and sustainable business models. She drew attention to several producers whose products are well recognized on foreign markets, but not in our country - Bulgarian saffron and Bulgarian organic walnut oil Gourmoli. Our director gave ideas for a better presentation of authentic Bulgarian products, especially in hotels that mainly welcome foreign tourists. This way, visitors get an unique experience and motivation for further travel and use of tourist services in our country.

Olimport "set the clock" again and announced its mission to distribute quality food of proven origin for the entire HoReCa sector. It is so valuable for us to exchange ideas and experience with so many representatives of the industry, highly motivated for the development of the Bulgarian culinary culture and image of our country abroad. Even happier is the fact that we have been working successfully with most of them and have shared a professional path for more than 15 years.
