We continue to pursue our mission to support and encourage Bulgaria's young culinary talents. This year, we are increasing our efforts and joining forces with the vocational high schools in tourism and culinary arts in Bulgaria, supporting the development of every student!
At the end of January 2025, school competitions were held at the Sofia High School of Tourism, part of the educational program of the students, as the first round of the National Vocational Competition.
First place was deservedly won by Dimitar Petrov. However, all participants received prizes from Olimport. “All of you, since you are here, are winners!” – said Mrs. Milena Asenova, Executive Director of Olimport, to give courage and motivation to the students from the High School of Tourism – Sofia.
Admirations for the teachers who prepared the students, as well as for the jury from the Bulgarian Association of Professional Chefs, who analyzed each dish in detail, gave improvement guidelines, and were extremely objective and encouraging in their assessment.
We wish success to all who continue ahead to the regional rounds. This year, Olimport is preparing a prize fund for the winner at the final, which will give a good boost for subsequent academic professional training!
